Connect and Celebrate

For me, this year my word is CONNECT and it’s perfect. I feel like I am already connecting with my word, pun intended. A week into the new year, and I have already met new people, attended a sacred circle which deepened my connection with my feminine energy and connected me with more like-minded people.  Yay!! Loving this feeling.

Connection is the energy that is created between people when they feel seen, heard and valued - when they can give and receive without judgement.
— Brene Brown

The following is how I will include my word into all aspects of my life this year. This doesn’t mean I am not connected with these things, it means I want to deepen my connection even further and expand my connection with others.

I will:

Connect with more like- minded people, making new beautiful friends along the way.

Connect with amazing new clients, who inspire me and make what I do such a gift.

Connect more with my tribe, my readers like you, where I can celebrate your awesomeness.

Connect with myself deeper than ever before, by connecting to my feminine energy, my truth and my why.

Connect with my sons even more. My relationships with my sons is beyond amazing, I want to continue and deepen this even more.

Connect with hubby.  I am beyond grateful for the relationship I have with my husband and as we hit a very big milestone this year. I want to reconnect and strengthen our connection even further as we move into another dimension of our relationship.

Connect with nature.

 Connect with my business.

Connect with my dreams and creativity.

Connect with my body, my mind and my soul.

Connect with all the things that I love to do, that makes me shine my brightest.

 Connect and celebrate life.

A few months ago, I had decided to change my newsletter name to Connect and Celebrate. After reflecting on the past year, the word connect kept popping up. Which as it turns out has been staring at me the whole time. Talk about making things difficult for myself.  Sometimes the things we are searching for are literally right under our noses.

Which leads me to our family word. CELEBRATE

I couldn’t be more excited about our family word and slightly amazed at how this gorgeous universe works.

I might just point out here that I didn’t have the word celebrate for our family I had another suggestion, it was the boys who had chosen the word celebrate.

Life should not only be lived, it should be celebrated.
— Osho

This has been such a wonderful activity to do with my boys, it really made everyone think about what they wish our family to focus on, how they want to feel at home. It’s a great opportunity for us parents to hear our children’s thoughts, ideas and needs. This year, we have quite a few milestone celebrations which is amazing and will certainly set the tone for the year. It’s the things that can sometimes go unnoticed and uncelebrated that as a family we want to celebrate.  Things like celebrating each other, our wins big and small. Celebrating us as a family, because we rock. Celebrating our health and the life we have all created together.

If that is not something to celebrate I don’t know what is.

With Love
